This beautiful basket is made by artisans of the Indigenous Community Toba Qom located in Cerrito in Paraguay, South America. Artisans skillfully hand-weave Karandilla leaves that are found in the humid forests of Paraguay. The crafting process takes many hours of work and a lot of attention to detail.
These baskets are an excellent option to hold fruits and vegetables on the kitchen counter, as storage, or to be displayed as a decorative element around the house.
